Started by Dean Halloran, run as a family business
Dean Halloran spent over a decade as an auto-electrician before turning his attention to garage door motors. In 2013, he started Rewinds out of a single van in Smithfield, fixing motors other trades had written off as unrepairable.
Today his son, Josh Halloran, leads the on-road team alongside a small crew of licensed technicians. It's still a family business at heart: the same phone number, the same upfront pricing, and the same insistence on doing the job right.
That approach has made Rewinds one of Western Sydney's most trusted names in garage door motor repair, replacement and installation.
